Each year WSSC holds its Lighthouse Challenge Regatta.
This is a fun, specialty race where we sail around the Detroit Light at the mouth of the Detroit River at Lake Erie.
After the race we meet at the pavilion near Water's Edge on Grosse Ile for a picnic and a Charity Auction where all funds raised go to a specific charity, chosen yearly. All are welcome to partake in the celebration!
